Market Operations Assistant (mid-June start date)
NFM is seeking 1 or 2 volunteers to assist with the setup and breakdown of the market which may include setting up tents, and tables, and assisting vendors with unloading/reloading vehicles and carrying items to the market area. Volunteers will also direct vendors where to repark their vehicles. During the market, at least one volunteer will count the number of shoppers and encourage shoppers to sign-up for the farmers market newsletter.
The market will run every Sunday from mid-June to the end of October on Greene’s Field on the corner of Great Plain Ave and Pickering Street. The market will be open to the public from 11 am to 3 pm. Setup begins at 9 am and breakdown ends at 5 pm.
NHS students may fulfill volunteer hours.
